MAINTENANCE MANAGER


MGR-MAINTENANCE

Responsibilities:

Lead a wood products production team to work injury-free/incident free in a continuous manufacturing environment. Supervise/coordinate maintenance efforts that drive improvement in all associated work processes affecting EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production and costs. Facilitate team development and growth, employee skill development, problem-solving and resolution, building employee commitment and ownership and holding employees accountable. Must be flexible with shift and/or departmental assignment.

General Tasks:

Drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implement the appropriate mitigating strategies based on the risk involved; monitor the quality of craft work and provide direction to crew members to maximize production efficiency; assist with troubleshooting production issues; provide safety training to crew members; coaching; team development/performance management; data entry and completing/generating reports.


Organizational Responsibility:

Position reports to the Plant Manager.


Contacts/interfaces:

Internal (site): Interacts with key operations personnel such as the Plant Manager, Superintendents (Operations and Maintenance), Human Resources Manager, Safety Manager, Environmental Manager, Quality Manager, maintenance personnel and employees at all levels of the site organization.

Basic
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree In Engineering or Engineering Technology AND a minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience. A high school diploma or equivalent AND 5 or more years of supervisory experience in a Manufacturing Maintenance environment may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Must have an excellent working knowledge of MS Word (creating, editing, formatting documents, preparing reports and tables) and Excel (creating, modifying spreadsheets, using functions, filters, graphs to analyze data).
Must be able and willing to work safely, including wearing and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Must be able and willing to work in a manufacturing plant environment, including extended periods of time in noisy, non-air conditioned or unheated areas.
Must have experience in leading improvement efforts in Maintenance Reliability, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance, and have experience routinely utilizing Root Cause Analysis or other similar problem solving tools.
Experience in building maintenance planning and scheduling programs and developing and enhancing predictive maintenance programs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
